Deafradio is proudly Deaf-owned, working to improve NZSL access, visibility and equity across Aotearoa. Our work is grounded in lived experience, cultural expertise, and a strong connection to the Deaf community.

Based in Tāmaki Makaurau and Te Whanganui-a-Tara

Deafradio acknowledges Māori as tangata whenua and guardians of tino rangatiratanga in Aotearoa. We also honour the legacy of past Deaf community members, leaders and allies – their struggles, advocacy, and achievements that shape our identity, language and spirit today.
